Six years ago, the pool area was my favorite place, and I looked forward to going back. By the end of our two night stay, several of us were sick from all of the smoke. There was cigarette smoke EVERYWHERE, except in a few restaurants. (We were able to get by with a rollaway and an air mattress, but seeing that we did not get the room that we reserved, it seemed unfair to be charged for the rollaway.) This was not what had been reserved! The desk clerk offered no apology, no advice and only shrugged. This was our second stay at Foxwoods and probably our last.Īlthough we had reserved well in advance, our family of four was given a room with one king-sized bed on the smoking floor.
